FREE support for farmers in England to navigate the agricultural policy changes

The Prince’s Countryside Fund (PCF) is inviting farm businesses from across England to join Farm for the Future which they are delivering with trusted local partners.

Booths are a proud supporter of the PCF and have contributed to the charity since their creation in 2010.

Farm for the Future will help farms in England navigate changes in policy and become more resilient and sustainable. The programme will provide business support so farmers can manage the upcoming changes and make informed decisions about their future, and discover opportunities with the ELM schemes that may financially and practically benefit the farm. Every farmer who participates will become a member of The Prince’s Countryside Fund’s Farm Resilience Network which provides a bank of resources and ongoing support.

The programme consists of a welcome meeting, two workshops and one to one support.Any tenant or owner-occupied farm currently in receipt of BPS in England is eligible to join – even if you have already participated in a programme run by The Prince’s Countryside Fund. Farm for the Future is funded by Defra’s Future Farming Resilience Fund.

The programme is running in 13 locations across England – of relevance to Booths’ suppliers are: Cumbria, Lancashire, Peak District and the Yorkshire Dales.
